Our staff is committed to making your experience at NSS flow as smoothly as possible. To reach that goal, it is important that we receive accurate and up-to-date information regarding you and your healthcare needs. Please remember to bring your most up-to-date insurance card with you for each visit.


Nursing Department

Our nursing staff will review the Health History Form which you need to fill out and bring to your first visit. You may download it from our website or receive a paper copy in the mail, before your first visit. It is important that you list ALL medications you are taking and be as complete as possible when listing your previous health history.


Surgery Scheduling

If it is determined that surgery is necessary, a Surgery Scheduler will meet with you to arrange your hospital admission and schedule the appropriate procedure, as ordered by the physician. We will provide you with an estimated cost of our physicians’ fees as well as assist you in obtaining all pre-certifications your insurance provider may require.


Medical Records and Imaging

Your Private Health Information (PHI) is carefully maintained and secured under HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations. Your medical record is handled with the utmost confidentiality and will not be shared with anyone unless you sign a written authorization to release such information to a specified party. If you want copies of your medical records (for which we assess a small fee to cover mailing costs), please call (402) 488-3002 or (877) 791-8360.


Insurance & Accounting

Neurological and Spinal Surgery, L.L.C. participates in a number of insurance programs and managed care plans. Please bring your insurance card with you so that we can work with your insurer to obtain the highest possible reimbursement for you.
